Apollo is a registered Nubian buck, registered name: Wild Acres Apollo. Born in May of 2021.
Gisele
Gisele is a registered Nubian Doe, registered name Garden Gate Canadian Gisele. Born March 2023. Gisele is very affectionate and fearless. She will forgo treats for bum scritches. Nicknamed Saran for the clingly wrap!
Tiana
Tiana is a registered Nubian Doe, registered name Small Beginnings Tiana. Born March 2023. Tiana is a bit aloof, but she is bonded with Gisele as they both arrived on our farm around the same time. So if Gisele does something or goes somewhere she will tentatively follow.
Nester
Nester was the runt of triplets, born in January 2023 in the middle of a cold snap. To save his life he started out as a house goat for the first 3 months of his life. In a diaper, fed by bottle, sleeping in our beds, watching sports on the TV from the couch. After that there was no parting with him. So he is now our resident wether.
Irie
Irie is our Guardian Dog. Mostly Great Pyrenees with a little bit of retriever. Her sworn duty is to protect every life on the farm. We live in a semi-rural area with the usual suspects of coyotes and raptor birds. We are also surrounded by orchards and vineyards that attract bears in the fall. There have even been cougar sittings on neighboring properties. Since her arrival in 2023 there has been no loss of life and no evidence of any predators traveling through our property.
